StreamLab - Live Simulator Practice Going Live

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. Service Overview

StreamLab - Live Simulator is a practice and simulation tool that lets you experience going live without actually broadcasting. The App uses your device's front camera to display a real-time preview, layered with simulated chat, viewer counts, floating reactions, themed overlays, and a score-and-missions progression. Nothing is streamed, recorded, or shared with any platform or audience. Every interaction in the App is simulated and produced locally on your device.

2. Eligibility and Use

By using StreamLab, you confirm that you are legally able to agree to these Terms and that you will use the App in line with applicable laws. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use as a streaming practice and entertainment tool. You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region) to use it.

3. Simulation Disclaimer

StreamLab provides a simulated streaming experience only. Please understand:

  • No real broadcasting: your camera preview appears only on your device. No video or audio is transmitted to any server, platform, or audience.
  • No real viewers: viewer counts are randomly generated numbers. No real people are watching.
  • No real chat: messages are generated from preset templates and handles. No real users are typing.
  • No real competitors: mission challengers are fictional characters with preset target records.
  • No monetary value: XP, levels, scores, missions, and unlocked overlay accents are in-app progression with no real-world or cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service. Prohibited behavior includes:

  • Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
  • Using the App in a way that breaks applicable laws or regulations
  • Redistributing, sublicensing, or commercially exploiting the App
  • Using automated tools to manipulate XP, levels, missions, or extract data
  • Presenting the simulated experience as a real live broadcast to mislead others

5. Your Data

Your profile, run history, XP, level, missions, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not access or sell that content. You are responsible for your device's security and the data held within the App.

Profile photos you take or select are saved locally and never transmitted. The camera preview during a practice run is shown in real time and is not recorded or stored. Limited analytics, attribution, and push-notification services are described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Device Permissions

StreamLab may request access to your camera, microphone, photo library, notifications, and tracking. These are used solely for the App's simulation, profile, messaging, and attribution features. Camera and microphone are used for real-time preview only — no recording occurs. All permissions can be revoked anytime in your device Settings. Declining a permission disables only the related feature and does not affect the rest of the App.

7. Progression, Missions & Scoring

The App includes a progression system: each practice run earns a score based on your session, which becomes XP and raises your creator level. Reaching new levels unlocks cosmetic overlay accent colors. Missions — including "challenger" goals against fictional characters — award bonus XP when completed. These features exist to make practice more engaging and carry no real-world monetary value. Scores, levels, and missions reflect only your in-App activity.

8. Intellectual Property

The StreamLab - Live Simulator app, including its software, interface, branding, character artwork, overlays, and design elements, is owned by StreamLab or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Use of the App grants only a personal, non-transferable license to run it on your device, and no other rights to its intellectual property.

9. Disclaimer

StreamLab is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted performance. The App is a practice tool and does not guarantee any real streaming skills, audience growth, or broadcasting outcomes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StreamLab and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or service interruptions arising from your use of the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, the updated version will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the App after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
